Meet Iku, the Turso.
Iku-Turso is a mythological Finnish sea creature that is an elemental force of nature. When we created Turso this seemed the ideal spirit animal for what we were building, and we named our mascot Iku.

Founders
Glauber Costa
CEO
Glauber started his career working with the Linux Kernel. Through IBM and Red Hat he worked on virtualization, storage, and containers, then spent almost a decade at ScyllaDB. Before Turso he authored the Glommio Rust async executor at Datadog.
Pekka Enberg
CTO
Pekka was an early employee at ScyllaDB and a Linux kernel maintainer contributing to memory management and virtualization. His work sits at the intersection of distributed systems, databases, and operating systems.
